Later blooming with dense, rounded clusters of dark, rose-lilac flowers, with a golden yellow throat. The foliage is dark green and convex. The form is dense and spreading, tree-like with time. H-1. It prefers partial shade to full sun, and moist, cool, acidic well-drained organic soil. Removal of spent blossoms encourages new growth and future flowers.
