Chinkapin Oak
A broad, rounded tree with an open branching habit and shiny green leaves. Native to the eastern United States. It tolerates dry to droughty soils, with neutral to alkaline pH. It will grow better in moist fertile soils in the landscape. The fall color is yellow to orange-brown.
