A dwarf variety with an upright, tightly branching habit. Leaves are thick and dark glossy green with white flowers in spring. Fall color is a crimson red. It grows best in full sun in an organically rich, well-drained soil. It is adaptable to a wide range of soils including heavy clay. This is a great tree for tight spaces or under utility wires.
