Northern Bayberry
A dense, upright shrub with deep, lustrous green leathery foliage. Will sucker to form large colonies. The waxy fruit is used for making bayberry candles. It is very adaptable; tolerates heavy, sandy, and high salinity soils. It prefers full sun to part shade. Best used in groups or mass plantings.
