A slow growing ornamental grass with luminous gold foliage. It forms a loose, shaggy mound. Prefers morning sun with afternoon shade and moist soil. Great for brightening up a shady garden, and combines well with ferns and hostas. Cut the old stems to the ground in late winter to early spring.
