Mountain Gordlinia
It is a fast growing cross of Franklinia alatamaha and Gordonia lasianthus, and also known as Sweet Tea. Long, narrow leaves are semi-evergreen, but usually turn some shades of red and orange in the fall. Large, camellia like, flattened white flowers with a showy center of bright yellow stamens occur from July to September. It prefers acidic, organically rich, well-drained soil in full sun to part shade.
