Raywood Ash

A rounded tree with fine-textured narrow leaflets. The summer foliage is a glossy dark green. The fall color is a rich, deep burgundy, with some brighter reds. It is adaptable to a range of soils, and performs best in full sun in moist, well-drained soils. Also know as Claret Ash or Flame Ash. Originated near Adelaide in Australia and named after Raywood Gardens in the early 1900's
