A rounded, upright tree that is fast growing and seedless. The structure is open, not too twiggy. The thick, dark green pinnate leaves turn reddish-purple, with some golden tones later, in the fall. Grows best in full sun in a moist, well-drained soil. It is frequently used as a shade or street tree.
