Northern Sun Forsythia
Upright growing, large shrub. Early spring blooms are large and clear yellow and appear before the leaves. Flower buds are very cold hardy. It is adaptable to a range of sites, preferring full sun. Renewal pruning as needed to maintain desired size and compact form. Introduced by the University of Minnesota in 1982.
