A broad, upright shrub. The large, rounded leaves emerge grey-purple in spring, changing to blue-grey at maturity. It has large, airy clusters of small, yellow-green flowers in the spring. The foliage turns bright reds in the fall. It needs well-drained soil and does best in full sun. It responds well to hard pruning. PP 19,035.
