Crimson King Norway Maple
A dense, oval tree with new leaves crimson red, maturing to dark maroon. The bright yellow flowers emerge before the foliage adding spring interest. The fall color is reddish-bronze. It is tolerant of a wide range of soils, heat and drought. The original seedling was selected in 1937 in Belgium. Perhaps the best of all the red-leaved Norway maples.
