Sensation Boxelder
An improved Boxelder that has better branching and slower, more controlled growth. The new growth often takes on coppery tints. It develops brilliant red fall color. It is a tough tree, good for harsh environments. It is a male selection, hence no seeds to attract Boxelder bugs. It was found at an abandoned homestead in Idaho. It is tolerant of drought, poor soils and other adverse growing conditions.
