Bowles Common Periwinkle

A fast growing, weed-smothering, spreading groundcover with dark green, glossy leaves. The spring flowers are intense blue-violet. It spreads outward from the crown rather than rooting along stems. Performs best with some shade and is tolerant of most soils. It does better with consistent summer moisture.
