Prunus subhirtella ‘Pendula’

Double Weeping Cherry

A gracefully weeping tree, normally top grafted. In spring, soft double pink flowers appear before the leaves. The fall color includes yellow and orange tints. It prefers full sun and good drainage. The nomenclature is confused; some would list his as 'Pendula Rosea' or 'Pendula Plena Rosea'. This has been in the trade since the 1930's.
