Japanese Flowering Crabapple

An irregular, spreading tree with disease resistant dark green leaves.The deep pink buds open to single light pink flowers. The yellow and red fruit are not persistent. Useful as a specimen or in small groups. It grows best in full sun, in a well-drained acidic soil, but is adaptable. If needed, prune after flowering, but before next year's flower buds are set.
