Compact, mounding shrub with dark red stems in winter. The foliage is glossy green with some red fall color. White flowers in late spring are followed by white fruit. Usually planted in large groups. An adaptable plant that will tolerate a range of growing conditions. Prune out older stems to promote new growth of brighter stems.
