New foliage emerges with a golden center glow surrounded by coppery purple foliage. Small pinkish-white flowers appear in late spring. In winter, mature plants have ornamental exfoliating bark. The form is an upright, spreading vase. An cross of 'Diabolo' and 'Dart's Gold'. Easily grown in average, slightly acidic, well-drained soil in full sun to some shade. PP 16,894.
