Spitzenburg Apple
A old variety of apple with red over yellow skin and yellowish flesh. It is firm, juicy, moderately sweet, and has excellent flavor. It is a good keeper and is pollinated by other mid-season blooming apples with the exception of Gravenstein. It prefers full sun and a well-drained soil. Budded on semi-dwarf rootstock.
