Hibiscus syriacus ‘American Irene Scott’

A unique hardy hibiscus with brightly variegated creamy-white and bluish-green foliage. The summer flowers are clear soft pink and double. It is a sterile cultivar that does not produce seeds. It prefers full sun to partial shade, and tolerates poor soils and some drought. It is very tolerant of summer heat and humidity. Prune to shape in spring.
