Sweet Fern

A deciduous shrub that is native to eastern North America. It has greenish yellow flowers in spring that are followed by edible fruit. The fern-like, aromatic foliage is used for seasoning, teas and various medicinal purposes. Prefers full to part sun and well drained soil, it is tolerant of wide range of soils and wind.
