Weeping Katsura Tree

This lovely tree has distinctive, blue-green, heart-shaped leaves that form a mound of gracefully weeping branches. The fall foliage turns to golden-yellow to apricot, with a scent reminiscent of strawberries, cotton candy, or burnt sugar. This tree prefers rich, acidic soil, with summer moisture. It needs protection from hot, dry winds.
