Common Lilac
A large shrub that has been popular for centuries, having been introduced to the New World by Colonial settlers. They have that unmistakable sweet fragrance many remember from grandmother's garden. The flowers will vary from white, to pink, to the most common light purple. It will grow best in full sun and a well-drained soil.
