Styrax japonicus

Japanese Snowbell

A small, rounded tree with a horizontal branching pattern. The bell-shaped spring flowers are white, pendulous and lightly fragrant. The fall color is yellow. It is suitable for planting under power lines. It prefers full sun to part shade in a moist, well-drained acidic soil.
