Picea abies ‘Nidiformis’

Bird's Nest Spruce

It forms a wide spreading, low growing shrub. The branches are layered to create a slight depression in the center of the plant, thus suggesting the common name. The needles are dark green. It grows best in full sun to partial shade, in a well-drained soil. It is a great foundation plant, or for mass planting.
