Parthenocissus tricuspidata

Boston Ivy

A vigorous, self-clinging vine, similar to P. quinquefolia except for the three lobed leaves. It has persistent bright red fall color. It is useful on walls or as a groundcover. The height it achieves is limited by the structure it is grown on. It is tolerant of poor, dry soils, full sun to part shade. This species is native to China and Japan.
