Golden Russet Apple
A crisp, aromatic apple with creamy yellow flesh, great flavor, and legendary sweet juice. Used fresh and for cider, drying, and cooking. Keeps well. Skin is a russeted golden brown. It has good disease resistance and has been used in gardens since the 1700's. Is partly self-fertile. (800-1000 hours chilling). It needs full sun and a well-drained soil. Budded on semi-dwarf rootstock.
