Magnolia ‘Yellow Bird’

Yellow Bird Magnolia

A pyramidal tree with dark green leaves and bright yellow flowers with a slight greenish tinge. Leaves and flowers appear at the same time. The blooms are larger than other yellow magnolias. It grows best in full sun to part shade in an organically rich, well-drained soil, with reliable summer moisture. This hybrid was developed at the Brooklyn Botanical Garden.
