A broad-spreading, large shrub. The clear yellow, sweetly fragrant, wrinkled, strap like flowers appear in late winter. This selection is considered one of the best. The fall color is yellow to orange. Plant in full sun to part shade, although the best flowering occurs in full sun. It prefers average, well-drained soil. Prune after flowering as needed for size and shape. It was grown and cataloged at Wisley.
