Betula nigra (‘Cully’) Heritage®

Heritage® River Birch

A pyramidal tree that becomes oval with age. Has striking curly, exfoliating bark, exposing white to salmon-white on young trees, darkening to salmon-brown as the tree ages. It is highly resistant to birch borer. It grows best in full sun and is tolerant of most soils, including heavy clay. The fall color is yellow.
