A very attractive ornamental hybrid. Dark shiny leaves appear to be scorch resistant and turn a vivid maroon red in fall. The flowers are spikes of creamy light yellow flowers with some red in the throat. It prefers full sun to partial shade. It grows best in average to moist soils; don't allow it to dry out.
