Acer rubrum ‘Karpick’®

Karpick® Red Maple

A narrow, columnar tree, with distinct red twigs. It is a uniform, fast growing tree, good for street tree use. The lateral branches are strong and dense on a good central leader. Fall color is yellow to orange. The bark is light gray. Considered somewhat slower in growth than the similar 'Armstrong' and 'Bowhall'. Easily grown in average soil in full sun to part shade. It prefers moist, acidic soils with good drainage.
