Autumn Flame® Red Maple
A dense rounded tree that is somewhat slower growing than other Red Maples. The fall color is bright red and appears earlier than most other cultivars. It is considered one of the hardiest red maple selections. It prefers full sun to partial shade, moist soils, as long as they are well-drained. This is a male cultivar. Introduced in 1964 by McGill Nursery of Oregon.
