A slow growing, upright vase shaped tree. The leaves are narrow, very fine, and strap like. The spring foliage is light green turning in the fall to yellow, orange and red. The name translates to "harp strings". It prefers some shade and shelter from strong, warm winds, to protect the delicate foliage. It needs a well-drained soil.
