Red Dragon Japanese Maple

 

A small rounded tree with gracefully cascading branches. The dissected leaves are a bright red in the spring, maturing to a deep burgundy red. The color holds very well through the summer. The fall color is a bright red. Growth habit is like a 'Crimson Queen'. It prefers well-drained, acidic soil, and some protection for summer sun. Selected in New Zealand.
