A small, rounded tree with gracefully cascading branches. The dark red foliage is finely dissected. Each lobe of the leaf is deeply divided and notched. The color holds well throughout the summer, turning to a scarlet red in the fall. Prefers well-drained, acidic soils, with some shade.
